Beginning Quilt Class

Audrey Pantas will be joining us to teach this wonderful Beginning Quilt Class! This is great for learning the basics for the first time, and even honing the basic skills to make any quilter improve their skills all around! The class will touch upon basic quilt making skills, and by the end you will have learned how to complete an entire quilt! Although more will be done in the classes, you will have completed a table runner by the end of the third class so that each skill can be thoroughly practiced.

Please bring your basic sewing supplies: and IF you own the following items please bring them to class:

1. Rotary Cutting Mat at least 24"
2. Rotary Cutter (with good sharp blades)
3. 12½" square ruler
4. 24" ruler (6½ × 24" or 8½" × 24")
5. Thread - COTTON neutral color
6. Small scissors or thread snips
7. Pressing Mat
8. Glass head silk pins (these won't melt when you iron)
9. Seam Ripper (everyone makes mistakes sometime!)
10. Machine (in good working order!) with power cord and foot pedal
    PLUS accessories - especially your ¼" Foot!
11. Pen or pencil to take notes
